    This is an excellent projector. Only issue is if you’re projecting from a short distance, I find it works best when your over 3mts away. But quality of image and sound is really good, design is friendly and easy to use on different surfaces, and it pairs very easily with other devices.

    I’ve been wanting a projector for years but by and large they were all out my price range. I hooked it up and very easily found the best place for it. Found a movie on Prime to check it out and was pleasantly surprised. It pairs easily with my bluetooth soundbar and wow! My favorite new way to watch movies. I have it about 8 feet back from the wall and that still produces a clear picture that’s big! Looks like an 8 foot display.

    When I bought this, I actually didn’t expect it to work to well. I ended up testing this out on bricks and can I just say it surprised me. It has actually done a pretty good job on it. I am genuinely impressed with how well it worked in the dark on it. The videos were not 4k or anything but they were clear and you could see what was there pretty good. The Bluetooth is actually nice to have on it. It allows for you to connect to speakers to make watching the movie better. The setup was pretty quick and easy, power cord goes in, your turn it on, connect to wifi (and Bluetooth if your using it) or it has a 3.5 mm jack for hardwired devices. The focus was easy to adjust with the push of a button. The adjustment on the actual device is also smooth, and it self adjust with the angles. (Disclaimer obviously not my music.) I will update this more as I find more pros and cons.

    I was in the market to replace my projector and I gave this one a try. I found it’s setup to be quick and intuitive. The fan is much quieter than the previous projector. It had 3 different color settings to fine tune the picture quality. The Bluetooth speaker sound was decent, wireless connectivity was fair for wireless streaming, I opted to use a thumb drive or a hdmi adapter to my phone for better picture.

    It’s probably what you expect for less than $100 – which is why it’s 4 stars.. Easy to setup and okay response time. The sound is the low quality that you’d expect to come from a small speaker in this kind of canister device. The picture isn’t too bright but works decent in a dimmed room. The worst part about it is the focus – wasn’t able to get it clear for words, but is decent enough for video. Ultimately, would be okay for younger kids play/guest room.

    Straight out of the box I was excited. Then once I plugged it in and toyed with the platform, I quickly learned the shortcomings of this Chinese device:•Casting/mirroring with Apple devices? NO – it does not work in the slightest.•Google Play Store? Meh – you will NOT find Hulu or NBC Peacock on the play store. I suspect this is because it’s a Chinese product therefore, as well intentioned as this projector is designed/manufactured, firmware and app software is not equipped to support all the US apps it claims to provide. Netflix for example, appears to be a browser based access. Meanwhile, Paramount & MAX seemed to work just fine.Best way to circumvent these inconveniences? Get a Roku (or similar) to plug into the HDMI port and spend some time modifying your picture and audio settings!! This made a world of improvement in my projecting/streaming experience. 😃The built in speakers have much to be desired but honestly I’m okay with them, I can hear programming just fine w/o issues. I found that the projector has some sound presets you can toggle through; Music sounded the most well balanced.Is the picture quality amazing? No, but again, it works to my satisfaction with the Roku device better than if I’d opted to use its built in platform. It’s got a great picture visibility with ambient room light, my review has a photo with zero light and one with a bedside lamp on. Even during the afternoon I had no issues with light leak.Overall: it’s a decent device. I do not think its price point matches the level of modifying and adjustments that are needed to achieve a basic watching experience. But, when compared to say, the Samsung Freestyle Portable Projector ($500+) then this isn’t a bad dupe.NOTE: with the NBC Peacock app I’ve observed that each time an episode begins, something causes the app to having no audio output. After fumbling around, I learned that each time it resets the audio to English 5.1 – if you toggle up to Subtitles & Audio, select English and then resume playing, your episode will have the sound return. Unsure what’s triggering this, and it’s needing to be changed every episode 🫤. Also unclear if I’ll experience this on other apps on my Roku? I tested this query by opening Netflix and the audio worked just fine. *shrugs*

    I love this projector! It was so easy to set up and use. I love that it has the apps built in so I don’t have to worry about having some type of streaming device with me. The electric focus works beautifully. The picture is bright and clear and the sound is great. My favorite feature is the fact that it can angle on the stand. My previous projector did not have that capability and it was always so hard to try to prop it up. But with this projector, I just angle it to exactly where I need it. This was a great investment and I am so very pleased.

I have it on my textured ceiling at night while in bed, and it’s like being in a theater. If you’re looking for a cost effective, great picture and audio, this is the one!

    Its a great projector and works great the only downside I’ve noticed is it can get dust on it pretty easily and wont come off so it becomes incredibly difficult to really enjoy shows or movies

    Bought this for my son. I was skeptical of the price and if he would be able to figure it out. He set it up by himself and he enjoys that he can move it around the room whenever and wherever he wants. I plan to borrow it for outside movie nights and think it will be great for that too!

    I really love how easy it is to use this projector, and I appreciate how bright it is. However, my only concern is with the subtitles; they aren’t bright enough, making them difficult to read against a white background. Is there a way to adjust the font or improve the brightness of the subtitles?

    I use this for projecting sewing patterns to cut them out of fabric. It works well for that purpose but the model i received does not have a tripod mount in the bottom. I drilled a hole and epoxied a screw nut in the hole, which is working for mounting to a mini ball clamp arm. This also makes it easier to mount the projector anywhere for movies if i don’t have table top in the right position.

    02/20/2025 Received my XuanPad Home Theater Projector today. Read through the instructions and set it up in less than 30 minutes. Netflix, Prime and a few other Apps already installed. Installed 2 AAA Batteries (not included) to the Remote Control. Easily adjusts the projected picture.I added Right Now Media App pretty effortlessly. Paired it with a Bluedio Bluetooth Speaker for better sound. The units speaker isn’t bad in a small room. Like any Projector, it works best with low to no light. Overall, I give it 5 Stars, especially at the price on Amazon. Getcha one!

    One problem: the remote SUCKS. I have to click it multiple times to get it to even register a single time. Otherwise, I love it! It’s so bright and easy to setup and the fan is quiet too.

    I love this projector! I was able to connect to my WiFi/apps easily. It’s easy to travel with too and could be used for many purposes. For the price, I think it’s worth it. The only thing I would recommend is paying a little extra for the “auto focusing” one — it’s not hard adjusting it by any means but it just takes extra time.

    The picture quality is good and the sound needs some adjustments but not bad for the price. My only disappointment is how difficult it is to use the Netflix options. Both links seem to be old and not easy to use and get your Netflix account added to to projector.

    So it will do the job. On the side though the up and down from the base has a click lock motion, so if what you place is not the right height, you will have to change that and not just shift the projector up or down. The whites of the projector seem to bleed as well. The android software though is pretty nice and easy to sync.

    I wasn’t sure what to expect due to the price and size of the projector but was pleasantly surprised. My one and only complaint is that I wish it could zoom a little closer from a further distance. However, mounting it resolves that problem. I would absolutely purchase this again.

    Got it for my husband for his bday. He loved it. Mainly used in the garage, to watch music videos or for the kids to play their Nintendo. Easy to use and didn’t need a projector screen… we just used the garage wall or the patio wall. Sound is louder than other projectors we’ve had in the past. Reasonable pricing…I would recommend to others!

    For how affordable this is? this far exceeded my expectations. This can be calibrated from any position. A tripod is no longer needed anymore. It’s got all the streaming apps loaded as well as android and ios compatible screen casting. This thing is sweet! pretty happy with it.

    Video is good. Sound is decent. Android OS.But…..Hulu and Peacock and some other apps are not natively available so some casting may need to be done. It’s not ideal, but not terrible. I’d recommend pairing with Google TV streamer and HDMi cable.But in the end it’s a decent TV/Movie viewer for a bed room. But probably not for family room.I did not try gaming.

    This is the projector to have. I purchased another projector on Amazon (from a differentbrand) and all the equipment and it was horrible disaster. I immediately returned it and purchased this one and now I’m a true fan of this company. Great picture quality, can still be seen in the day (depending on how much light is coming into your room). Love the preloaded apps, however the apps I had issue with was Netflix and YT kids. Fortunately, we use our Firestick and those issues were resolved. The sound is great and I love the bluetooth connectivity. My husband can also connect his ps4 and his game play has been upgraded. My husband and daughter fight over this projector, so we will be definitely ordering another one.

    Excellent choice for me, super easy to use, HDMI cable plug and play, I connected my MEGA boom and the sound is perfect. It does come with an ok speaker, but for clary and depth and external speaker is needed. Used it for the SUPERBALL played for 7 hrs no problem.

    The projector is great! Still trying to get the sound right but I’m sure thats probably just me and needing to adjust the settings. My ears are sensitive but over all sound isnt bad.the remote now that’s another story! That thing sucks! you have to be just in the right spot. We can’t be laying down in bed and adjust anything we have to get up and move to the end of the bed. which sucks. Over all it’s an A i would say!

    I purchased this projector to use for movie night and other fun occasions and I was a little disappointed when I received it.I will talk about the things that I liked about the projector first – I really enjoyed that the it was super light weight and easy to set up. I also really liked how sleek the design of the projector is. The price is also fairly reasonable.What really turned me off about the projector is the sound quality. It is really really bad and I couldn’t get my Bluetooth speaker to connect to it. I also couldn’t get it to focus completely so just the mix of not being able to hear it or see it completely ultimately made me return it.

    I like the product and it works great. But on day one the HDMI cord was faulty. I plugged it in and the cord fell out leaving part of the metal connector plugged in. I’d say they need to make sure to get better quality cords that come with it. Great other than that!

    I’ve been using this projector to host movie nights while in Africa. It is easy to set up and use, and the screen size can be adjusted as needed. The image quality was terrific for this device when streaming. However, since the speaker quality on this device isn’t the greatest, I recommend a Bluetooth device.

It was very easy to set up, connect the apps, and auto-adjust for the perfect picture!It’s small profile allows it to just sit on a small shelf and not take up much room at all.     I can’t believe all the features this things has, built in streaming, like a phone, a screen mirroring capability, and good picture quality. For the price I was not expecting something that actually worked as advertised, the last TWO projectors I bought both disappointed me and I had to return them, so when I saw this I was confused, but I looked at the reviews and it seemed reliable so I bought it and it did not disappoint, so I must applaud you for that, 5/5.

    I got this to display stats on the floor and give me training guides for my Golf Simulator. Its a perfect device for just that. Its bright enough for stats, but not for the actual Sim. a few things to note:1. if you are projecting it downwards, you need a 90 degree HDMI adapter.2. there are Screw mounts under the bottom rubber piece. You have to pull it off to access them.Other then that pretty easy to get focuses, keystones, and configured.

    purchased this to have outdoor date night around the fire pit this fall, haven’t used outdoors yet but worked great for the test run in the house. Definitely will need to be paired with a Bluetooth speaker when outdoors. as it’s not going to get loud enough for the sounds of outdoors.the remote has to be pointed directly at the back of projector not in general direction.good for outdoor date night movie, seems as if will work well for watching Monday night football or set up on a dark room of home to get that movie theater feel
