I have had 2 other charging devices with retractable cables in the past. They both worked ok for a little while until they didn’t. I didn’t get a “new” one for several years. Not because the first ones were still working because they weren’t, but because I figured it was a bad idea to get another one. Then, I saw this. It was an accident that I came across it. I looked at it and looked at it. I read the reviews. I went back and forth trying to decide if I should give it a try.Eventually I pulled the trigger and ordered one. It came and I ripped open the package and out came this gigantic thing. It seemed kind of heavy (in the well made kind of heavy) and yet neat looking at the same time. I plugged it into the outlet and it came to life. It showed me how many volts my vehicle battery had. It has 2 cables that tuck nicely into the charging housing when retracted. A USB C and a Lightening Cable. It also has a USB outlet available. I tugged the Lightening cable out to plug into my iPhone. it was nice and smooth. It entered my phone and started charging. How fast did it charge? I don’t know. I never looked at the battery percentage and then timed how long it took to charge it. I’m one of those weirdos who likes to keep the phone battery topped off. I know, not good for the battery. Too old to change now. Regardless, I noticed there were several stop options for how much cable comes out. You give it a quick but gentle tug and it retracts nicely. I really like it.But didn’t I say it was gigantic? Yea I did and it is pretty good sized. But with 2 retractable cables, a USB port and a volt meter it’s not as bad as one might think. I have a car where the the charge hole is kind of deep behind the gear shift and the enormity of this actually helps get the retracted cables into a position where you can grab them easier. I like that I don’t have loose cables laying all over the place. If this thing lasts, I’m going to buy one for every vehicle I own and for every vehicle owned by members of my family. I hope the mechanism that retracts the cables lasts. I imagine I will have a part to play in that with how I use it. If I don’t do a lot of yanking on it (like trying to start a lawnmower) it should last. I’ve had it about a month now and use it multiple times a day. I’ll update as time goes on.Would I recommend it? I would.Value for the money? It depends on how long it lasts. Do you NEED one? No. Do you want one? Probably and that’s why someone made it.Bottom line: I really like it and am pleased with it’s performance.

I wanted something to plug into near the rear seats for my wife and son to use on long car trips. Rather than run a bunch of cords from the front to the back, I found this device. Simple and straight forward. Worked right out of the box and it’s nice to have the volt display to let me know it’s actually on and functioning. I like the two different cables and they work great on the iphone and my son’s fire tablet. Only downside is that the cables are less than 3ft long, but, my wife can sit normally in the seat and the cord stretches to her just fine. I can’t really use it in the front seat unless I keep my phone on the arm rest. No big deal for me, but I would like it if the cords were a little longer. Seems that all of these types of chargers have the same cord lengths. I did a lot of research and went with this one. I love it but it is a little bulky. I like that I can bend the device down so it’s a little more out of the way. Overall it works great.

I still like this charger because I can use one of the retractable cables for my Go Pro. Yes! I can use it to charge my new iPhone 16 Pro Max … but I have to have a “plug in” cable to charge it … defeating the whole purpose for the purchase in the first place… so the description is a bit misleading … it will indeed charge the iPhone 16 but you need the extra cable …

Love this charger! The kids can’t steal my charger out of the car anymore. It has 4 different adapters so that you can charge multiple devices. Love that it plugs right into the car and keeps everything clean by the retractable cord. The cord is long enough to reach and then retracts back into place.
